NEW BEDFORD, MA -- Your Theatre, Inc. announces the cast and production team for its third major production of the 64th season. Directed by Lawrence R. Houbre of New Bedford with Musical Direction by Bonnie Brault of Fairhaven, the Musical: The Fantasticks by Harvey Schmidt and Tom Jones opens on Thursday, January 20 and run through Sunday, January 30 at The YTI Playhouse (136 Rivet St New Bedford MA. 02744).

The cast for The Fantasticks features Suzanne Bergeron, Ron Guillemette and Frank Mitchell of New Bedford, Molly Howarth and Tyler Rowe of Fall River, Edward J. Maguire of Fairhaven, Robert Duquette of Somerset and Dennis Smith of Tiverton, RI.

The Fantasticks is the longest-running production of any kind in the world, and with good reason: at the heart of its breathtaking poetry and subtle theatrical sophistication is a purity and simplicity that transcends cultural barriers. The result is a timeless fable of love that manages to be nostalgic and universal at the same.

Ticket and other information about the production are available by calling YTI at 508-993-0772 or E-mail ytinc@verizon.net. The theatre is located at 136 Rivet St. (at County St.), New Bedford, in the auditorium of St. Martin’s Episcopal Church.

Founded in 1946, YTI is incorporated as a non-profit community theatre which seeks to enhance the cultural life of New Bedford, Southeastern Massachusetts, and nearby communities through the study and regular presentation of dramatic productions and other programs of high quality and professional standards.
