The world renowned Musical, The Fantasticks by Harvey Schmidt and Tom Jones, the third production of Your Theatre, Inc.?s 64th season, opens on January 20th for a nine performance run. Directed by Lawrence R. Houbre, Jr. with Musical Direction by Bonnie Brault, the play runs January 20th ? 22nd and 26th ? 29th, with a matinee Sundays, January 23rd and 30th. Curtain time is 8:00 p.m. for all evening shows and 3:00 p.m. for Sunday matinees. The Fantasticks is the longest-running production of any kind in the world, and with good reason: at the heart of its breathtaking poetry and subtle theatrical sophistication is a purity and simplicity that transcends cultural barriers. The result is a timeless fable of love that manages to be nostalgic and universal at the same. The cast includes Suzanne Bergeron, Ron Guillemette and Frank Mitchell of New Bedford, Edward J. Maguire of Fairhaven, Molly Howarth and Tyler Rowe of Fall River, Robert Duquette of Somerset and Dennis Smith of Tiverton RI.
